Roman Mystery Scrolls

When Flavia Gemina and her friends leave Ostia in the year AD 81, Lupus gives a beggar boy named Threptus his wax tablet. Written on it are two commands:

CARRY ON MY GOOD WORK & LEARN TO READ AND WRITE
Keen to follow in the footsteps of his idol, Threptus abandons begging in order to join forces with Floridius, a freelance soothsayer and dealer in sacred chickens. With the help of this unlikely mentor, he finds himself struggling to outwit the law, solve mysteries and even fight 'demons'! With less blood and more poo than the Roman Mysteries, each story is a short adventure suitable for readers aged 7 up, especially boys!

The Sewer Demon and The Poisoned Honey Cake are both out now. The Thunder Omen is coming soon!
